We have made it a tradition to have a "White -Witch-Defying" Christmas party for our December meeting of the C. S. Lewis Society of Chattanooga. We've decided to have British cuisine this year, so that means turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, mince meat pies, and, of course, plum or Christmas pudding. The Christian calendar is so helpful for our spiritual lives, but it also has some fun built into it. I plan to have some fun this Sunday, "Stir Up" Sunday, and make my first ever Christmas pudding and keep it in the fridge for the party. I've found some recipes on the internet, but if you have one you really love, I'd like to know about it. I'd also appreciate any advice you may have.
Ah, the joys of Anglican traditions.
